Special: Floyd And Hya - Father-Daughter Bonding

Third Person's POV

After the events with Velvet and Veneer, with the superstars arrested, BroZone (exclude Bruce cuz he had to go back to his family), Hya, Poppy, Viva and Dean returned back to Pop Village safely with Floyd

Few days have passed, BroZone decided to catch up after all these years, and leave all this 98 degrees of separation behind and be a family again, along with their niece, Hya

One day, BroZone members, John Dory, Clay and Floyd decided to stay in Branch and Hya's bunker for as long as they wanted because Branch said so

A boring day, both Hya and Floyd, the father-daughter duo, decided to play a card game and board games instead, as they both had nothing else to do

To say that at least, it's their day of doing their first father-daughter bonding!

Clay went on his "date" with Viva, Branch went on his date with Poppy as well, and John Dory went on his hunt for the day, while both Hya and Floyd stayed in the bunker for now, as they had nothing planned to do

Hya glanced up and tried to peek to Floyd's card to cheat, which he noticed and chuckled quietly

"What are you doing, sweet pea?"

"Nothing." She said as she quickly look back to her cards

"You're cheating."

"No I'm not."

She eventually glanced back up and tried looking at his cards, which made Floyd laugh

"You're such a sneaky one, mini-me. But not sneaky enough."

They both laugh for a moment before going back to playing their game

Floyd looked at her before he randomly ruffles her hair, which got her attention, and looked at him

"What?" She asked while slowly grinning slightly in confusion but amusement

"Nothing. Just looking at you... time really passed by, huh? I can't believe I'm seeing you all grown up right in front of me..." He said with a small smile

"Oh– Mm.... yeah... heh, you still look the same to me. Just with a different hairstyle than what I saw from the photos."

"Wait. My photos? Did Branch showed you–"

"Yep. He did."

This made Floyd blush in embarrassment, he didn't think Branch would go that far to show her his old photos, but that also made him happy to know that she get to know him better by just memory lining

"...And somehow, I felt really connected to you as few years goes by, you know. Like, I already knew so much about you."

That made Floyd smile and ruffled her hair again

"I'm happy you think that way."

Floyd suddenly stopped talking as his smile slightly dropped

"...Sweetie, I'm sorry... for not being there for your entire life. I should've stayed with you or Branch, but I had to leave for my solo career."

"Dad, that's fine. At least I grew up with much adventures now. I learned how to dance and sing cuz of uncle Branch and aunt Poppy, I was a sneaky one to even sneak out the bunker when I was 7. I even had so much adventure when I was 7 to 11, like when the time we went all the to Mount Rageous to rescue you... and even better... I... became a freaking... you know, Peacekeeper of Music at 11 years old when we saved every trolls from the rock apocalypse."

"...I'm still 15, but... I had a lotta responsibility. Keeping all music in peace and harmony. Sure, it can be stressful, but it's my job. I'm used to it. That's... who I am now. But that doesn't stop me from keeping my family and friends on hold. You, uncle Branch, uncle Clay, uncle Bruce, uncle JD, and aunt Poppy and aunt Viva, are my number one priority in mind and heart."

This made Floyd a little emotional hearing her say that, so he put his cards down and went to her, hugging her from the side, while she was a little surprised and hid her cards and hugged him back

"I'm so glad you're my daughter. While you're getting older, it doesn't change that you'll always be my little girl."

"Gosh, you've grown up so fast... it felt like yesterday when I used to hold you like this when you were a little baby."

Hya chuckled nervously as she was a little embarrassed to even think about it

"Yeah... uh, let's keep playing UNO though." She said and chuckled, which made him laugh and peek through her cards, but she immediately noticed

"Hey! No peeking!" She said as she hid her cards and laughed

"Sorry, baby girl. Can't help myself." Floyd said as he went back to his seat

"Man, how many traits have I even got from you? I thought I only got you and uncle Branch's sarcastic and moody traits, with your sensitive, emotional traits?" She asked with a grin

"Well, you are my baby girl, so, you might have gotten all my traits." Floyd said, shrugging his shoulders with a smile

"Ehh... maybe."

The two laughed together as they kept playing their card game

Everything now would been really better if every day is always like this...

Just a father-daughter bonding every day, and every night...
