Night, 12 PM
The lamps of anushka's and virat's room was off and the darkness engulfed the room, Scattering rays of blue moonlight lit the small area of their bed while they both laid silently

Already changed into the comfortable clothes, Anushka whinned slowly unable to sleep and finally took a deep breath, before opening her eyes and tilting her head to look at Virat, who laid while his back faced her,

Anushka POV
"Hamesha apni peeth hamari taraf ese kar lete hai, jaane raat ko izzat loot lenge ham inki" I mumbled to myself getting annoyed at my insomnia and whinned again,

"Neend kyu nahi aarahi hai hame" I scoffed while mumbling and finally thought to talk to him,
Shifting closer slowly, I stopped at my place when I heard the voices of my anklet's small beads ringing and facing palming myself at the voice, I side eyed him, peeking whether it disturbed him or not

Finding him unbothered, I again started to move

Shifting more closer, I sighed before mumbling softly "Virat ji"
I called him and not getting any reply, I again shifted even more closer and laying just behind him while lifting my weight by the support of my elbow, I peeked from his shoulder

"Virat ji, suniye nah" I mumbled again while looking at his face and hovering over him and sighed when he didn't reacted but rather kept his eyes closed,

Feeling defeated, I thought to pull away but my actions halted when my sight caught the blue moonlight falling over his fair skin and his face glowed,
Shifting closer, I tried to look but instead, blocked the rays

Pulling away at the same distance like before, I stopped at the place where the rays fell over his face and stared at him

His face looked calm while his body lifted up and down because of his slow breaths, Eyes were fluttering abit and my sight fell over his lips, They were plumped and pink in shade, Trailing my sight from his lips to his nose, I smiled at the small mole on his nose bridge and Towards his eyes, I felt awestruck looking at his thin but long eyelashes and thick eyebrows

He was beautiful and I didn't know when My staring for him turned into a admiration and my hand raised to hold his shoulder and I kept my chin over the back of my palm,

Admiring him with a smile, My actions halted when I saw him fluttering his eyes a little and he finally lifted them open and looked at me,

The smile on my face quickly dropped and scooting away from him, I again laid on the bed and he knitted his eyebrows

Groaning while turning towards me and narrowing his eyes because of the sleep, He frowned and asked, "Kya kar rahin thi aap?"

He asked and I felt a chill running down my spine hearing his hoarse voice,

"Vo.. kuch nahi" I replied while stuttering and eyeing him in between, I saw him sitting up and looking at me with a puffed face and sleepy eyes

"Soi nahi aap?" He asked again, while yawning slightly and laying back but facing me this time and he pulled the blanket over us,

Fidgeting with my fingers while I felt his gaze over me, I nodded my head shyly, "Ji, hame neend hi nahi aarahi"
I said with a slow voice and waited for a reply

Not getting any, I thinned my eyebrows before tilting my head to look at him and caught him staring at me while keeping his face on his palm and supporting it on pillow by his elbow

"Aap hame ese kyu dekh rahe hai?" I asked nervously, while a small smile formed on my lips and tilting my face towards the other side while blushing and he scoffed
