Anushka and Virat knocked on the main gate and feeling the door opening that nandini did, They passed a smile to each other while entering inside

Soon the smile turned into a frowned expressions when they saw their relatives laughing while hugging vishwajeet and virat's mama said "Abh chalte hai jija ji"

He said while adjoining his hands and they saw vishwajeet nodding his head before he added "Kuch din baad Holi ka tyohar tha, thode din aur ruk jaate toh achha rehta" he muttered softly

Virat's mama shaked his head while chuckling softly in respectful manner and replied "Ji ham bhi pasand karte rukna pranatu abhi kaam hai daftar me ruk nhi sakte vaise bhi ishant aur sab ruk hi rahe hai, bachhe ek sath Holi mana lenge"

He replied making vishwajeet nod his head while ishant who was standing behind his father smiled "Zaroor pita ji, abh ki Holi toh bhabhi ke sath hi khel kar aayenge"

He said loudly making virat quickly snap his head towards ishant's direction and he looked at him sharply making him laugh

"Theek hai bhaiya pehla rang aap laga dena, ese kya ghoor rahe ho aap hame" ishant commented making elders chuckle while the group of cousins laughed at his words

Their laughter was dropped down slowly when they heard anushka reply "Rang laga sakte ho toh koshish karke dekh lena"

Anushka challenged the whole squad of cousins and a competitive air got into the aangan, Virat smiled listening to her and turning towards her while folding his hands over his chest, he replied "Abh toh aapko indradhanush ke saat rangon me rangna padega anushka ji"

His reply got the attention of anushka and raising her one eyebrow at his boldness, she also folded her hands against her chest and replied with boldness "Tabhi toh keh rahe hai, koshish karke dekh lijiye"

Her reply made the cousins start hooting and cheering for them, Smirking when the group of girls cousins stood behind her in her team, anushka sassingly brushed her fingers through her hairs,

Her smirk slowly turned into a knitted expression when ishant came while patting virat's shoulder and the other boys cousin stood behind him as if in his team and They all said all together
"Abh ki Holi me jang hogi"

Night, 10PM

I took a deep breath of peace finally and closed the book, Smirking while looking at the title that said one hundred one pick up lines you can use, I quickly hid it underneath the pillow

"Virat ji per istamal karke dekhte hai, agar kaam karengi toh apni saheli ko ye hi kitab de denge uski shaddi se pehle" Anushka mumbled within herself and stood up from nandini's bed as they both were talking earlier and then nandini slept in between,

And made her way towards her room,
Knocking on the door and hearing "aa jaiye" from the inside, anushka peeked inside the room before getting in and her sight fell on Virat who sat on the bed while focusing on few papers in his hands

His thick eyebrows were knitted in a focused expression while his hand kept on writting something on the other paper,
Inhaling a deep breath before closing the door behind, Anushka rubbed her hands together looking at her pray and climbed on the bed

I could feel the bed sinking and recognising it's anushka, I didn't looked upward to look at her rather continued my work,

My actions were halted when my sight got blocked as anushka extending her hand infront of my face and showed me her palm,
