"A package arrived for you earlier." Donna held the package as she
talked "my supervision reinforced by parts one and two of your sissy
maid kit will ensure you act in a manner befitting a maid in this
household." She explained it's contents and how to explain wearing it to
Maria. "Though I'd rather not provoke paranoia, it's important you
understand that your choker, chastity, and Maid app may converse about
your actions behind your back," Donna said with a smirk, unable to
contain her mischief, as she finally handed him the package.

"Get on with it, come on slow coach, let's see," Maria said as if it
were her birthday present he was unwrapping, her excitement
diametrically opposed to Minnie's mood.

Minnie gingerly opened the package, adhering faithfully to Donna's
instructions. 'I've bought something to help keep me out of trouble.'

Maria examined the choker as if it was her that would wear it until
Donna securely locked it around Minnie's neck. "Today, with Maria
supervising, I want you to teach the choker the list of phrases I have
written out on this sheet, phrases I consider suitable for a maid and
aimed at restricting your rude outbursts toward guests. From what you
told me Minnie your choker will monitor your voice and will refine the
list over time." She couldn't help but smile at the sight of Minnie's
woebegone look.

"Depending on the setting, it can activate if you speak, react to
certain words, or only allow you to answer. Imagine, Minnie, a silent
you at my beck and call."

While breakfasting Maria began reading the choker instruction booklet.
Jennifer walked into the kitchen. "Any coffee left?" She joined them at
the table. "What is that Minnie is wearing?"

"According to this it's a 21st century cross between a scold's bridle
and a shock collar Mrs. Collins," Maria quickly answered as she waved a
leaflet at no-one in particular. "Minnie bought it to train herself, it
is powered by artificial intelligence." Maria was pleased to have the
attention of the kitchen focussed on her and, short of anything relevant
to say, she read the marketing blurb "an AI-powered accessory designed
to help refine social interactions by utilising sophisticated
algorithms, this choker discreetly analyses speech patterns and will
remind the wearer to pause before speaking, promote active listening and
overcome the tendency to interrupt or respond rudely. With its sleek
waterproof design and intelligent features it will compliment any
outfit..." Without a need to pause for breath, she seamlessly ad-libbed
"of course Minnie would need your permission before wearing it in the
main house Mrs. Collins."

"I'll agree to anything that stops her outbursts, let me tell you,
Minnie, poor Katie still has nightmares following your outburst."
Jennifer looked serious. "Thank goodness you were there to put a stop to
it Maria." Pausing for effect she smiled in Donnas direction. "Your
choker is an excellent idea Minnie, consider it a compulsory part of
your uniform." Pleased with her spur of the moment officiousness
Jennifer topped off her coffee. "I love that dress Donna, going
somewhere special?"

"Sort of, I'm meeting an old school friend, Helen, for lunch in the
city. We are penpals, you know, envelopes and stamps. I know that sounds
old fashioned Mrs. Collins but it works for us."

"Snap! I'm driving in this morning, not for anything as exciting as
you...a charity lunch." Jennifer smiled. "It would be nice to have some
company in the car."

Donna smiled. "That sounds nice, I can take the train home."

"Or we meet up, come home together." Jennifer smiled. "Donna, I'm sorry
to mention work on your day off but, while I remember, Minnie's uniform
looks ill-fitting, can you have her measured at the uniform shop when
you have time?"
