I didn't get a wink of sleep that night. The room was dreadfully quiet, and I was left all alone with a million unanswered questions running through my mind. There was nobody to answer them.

Where did you go? Did something happen? Was there a trespasser? I racked my brain thinking of the endless possibilities, till the noises died down and the sun came up.

The next morning felt like déjà vu.

The doors opened, and in walked an unfamiliar scent. It smelled like daisies. It wasn't you.

"Good morning," the voice said, "I'm here to serve breakfast."

"Where did he go?"

"He?"

"Yes! My nurse!"

"Sorry, I was informed this morning that I would be put in charge of your care from now on." She replied.

"What happened to the previous nurse?"

"I'm not so sure about that."
