oh, you came so quietly,
so quietly because
you are so tired and so done.
your eyes are red and puffy,
the tears are dried up
on your cheeks.
oh, you want to be
put out of your misery,
you think that my answer
to your longing question
will be a revelation
-- something inspiring,
something great,
something life-changing.
how do you move on?
