Dear Chan,

You didn't come to school today, but our Japanese teacher put us into a team on a project I don't want to do. Not that I don't want to do it with you, but oral presentations give me anxiety. I don't want you to see the dark and depressing side of me... I don't want anyone to see me in my most vulnerable state. I don't want anyone to think I'm weaker than I already am. I just hate it when people think so lowly of me. I don't want you to think lowly of me... Because even though I don't know you much, I really like you.
