Things you'll need:
1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1/2 cup minced onions
1 egg
2 tsp minced fresh parsley
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 (8 oz) package manicotti shells
Time: 1 hour and 5 minutes — longer than an episode of Making a Murderer, but shorter than Kevin Hart.
So, we be making Manicotti. First, you'll need to preheat that ov to 98 Degrees —just kidding, 350 (does that joke even work on youngs?). Take the spinach out of the freezer and thaw it. Then, over the sink, squeeze that Spinelli until it's dry —sort of like you're wringing out a wet towel. Now put it all in a bowl and leave it somewhere, out there, over the rainbow.
Now, put your safety goggles on because Fergie says big girls don't cry. Take one medium onion and mince it up into tiny pieces.
Next, you're going to take an egg and beat that little guy up. Don't feel bad for it because this manicotti is going to be bomb.
