The Boy Who Lives In Lockdown

so this is a short story, that means everything will move kinda fast.

"Scott, your never gonna believe what I just saw".  My friend, Alex, called to me

I rolled my eyes. "What'd you see".

"So I was passing Lockdown and I saw him, him Scott, I saw the boy". Alex said

I looked up at him laughing as if it were a joke but when I saw the fear in his eyes, I knew it wasn't.

I started to freak out. "Are you kidding. What'd he look like"?

"He was young looking, about our age".

I shook my head. "I don't know how he's still in there, people who go in there never come out but somehow he's still living with a breathing heart, in Lockdown".

"I know. What's the story about Lockdown anyway".

"It's just locked down because of him, everyone who went inside that part of town would never come back, so they fenced it off so no one could get inside".

Alex nodded. "So nothing's gonna happen to me right, all I did was see him".

"No your gonna be fine". I said trying to be reassuring, even though I had no idea what happened if you only saw him.

"Why does he live there". Alex asked

"His parents died in a car crash in that part of town, so he just stays there".

"And he's real like not a ghost". Alex questioned

"No he's real, he has a beating heart, skin, brain, he just lives there. People say he lives in his old house. It was on that side of town". I said

"What about food".

I shrugged. "Don't know".

"That's so weird. I wonder if anyone can get him out of there. It's really sad that he's just hiding in there".

I nodded my head. "Yeah it kinda is, I guess".
