The Boy Who Lives In Lockdown

I was walking home from work today, Alex usually takes me home but he was sick today

But on my way home I have to pass Lockdown and just to put it off I sat on a bench and got on my phone, scrolling through twitter

I saw an article about the boy and clicked on it

I started to read

Mitch Grassi (aka- The Boy hiding in Lockdown) was seen yesterday by various people. A woman came forward saying he talked to her, that he told her he wanted out and that someone was keeping him here and he wanted to leave but he needs help. The girl quickly got scared and ran away but she said she regretted not helping the boy and went back a few hours later but he wasn't there.

I finished reading.

He wanted out, he didn't want to be there, someone's keeping him there, now he sounds so harmless

I looked at the time and saw that I've been sitting here for an hour and decided that I needed to head home

I got up and my nerves started to rise

No Scott your 23 you'll be fine

I started to walk down the side walk, I was getting close to Lockdown and I decided that I didn't want to see the boy

So to avoid him I got on my phone and started to walk faster wanting to pass Lockdown and get home quickly 

I was scrolling through Twitter

"Hey you". I heard a almost feminine voice say, but you could tell it was a boy

Not thinking that I was standing beside Lockdown, I looked up

That was a mistake

I saw him

I saw the boy
