Dedicated to AudaxReverie. Sorry if I infected you with my insanity earlier. Hope this makes up for it.

Nobody expected an Angel of Death to be a quiet, nerdy teenager whose social interaction happened mostly on the Internet.

According to Anna Walker, future Angel of Death, that was the exact genius behind her public persona.

At eighteen, Anna was fine walking into her last year of high school never having experienced any kind of real human connection with people other than her kind. It's been her thing to stand on the sidelines and watch as everyone else at school made and lost friends, and fell in and out of love.

But just as she's resigned herself to one last year of sitting through classes she already knows everything about, she meets someone that flips her world upside down – things would never be the same.

Ben Williams.

He's the quintessential gentleman – witty and charming with devilishly good looks and an English accent that was a whole lot smoother than his own social skills seemed to be.

This is where the adventure begins.

Ben takes a keen, almost stalker-like interest in Anna's meager, keep-your-head-down existence – the kind of interest that may just mean life or death.

Literally.

Decided to repost this on the merits that I have actually finished writing this book. Enjoy!
