 Miku took a deep breath and began with the melody,

sekai de ichiban ohimesama

sou iu atsukai kokoro ete yone

sono ichi

itsumo to chigau kamigata ni ki ga tsuku koto

sono ni

chanto kutsu made miru koto  ii ne?

…What? Miku couldn’t remember the third thing. She grunted, she had sung this song dozens of times but couldn’t remember the lyrics. She sat and listened to the song on repeat for a while and tilted her head. Then it came to her! An insane idea! Possibly so insane Len would call it, “a wonder”. …Hatsune Miku would sing in English! How? Miku was clueless. She would find a way. Miku took another deep breath and started again,

sekai de ichiban princess…?

Miku was astonished. She didn’t know what happened; the word just came to her. But what the heck was a “princess”? Miku was again clueless. Luka had tried to teach her English once before. Miku couldn’t remember if “princess” meant royalty or it was a type of chocolate or pudding. Miku wished she had paid more attention. Luka often said that Miku was a “diva”.  Miku didn’t know what that was either but she liked the sound of it. She shrugged as more words came to her. Soon enough she had the whole song in English! It was a miracle! Miku was extremely excited as she began, pushing the little button to play the melody again,

First off, you should know when my hair gets cut right down to the inch

Second off, you should know when I wear a brand new pair of shoes, get it?

Third off, for every word I speak to you, I expect three words in reply

Miku cried tears of joy, she was singing in English! Her happiness was only temporary however, for, she began to feel a numbness deep in her leftleg.  Miku tilted her head again. What was this feeling? It scared her but still, she continued to sing.

Nothing said, that could be really all that selfish I'm sure

I only want you to think that I'm super-cute... truly and genuinely

The numbness began to actually burn a little. Miku wouldn’t let this stop her though.

My fault? You know by now that I won't complain about such things

Right? Can you hear me? Fine I'll repeat it...

Though it’s alright to go and scold me, just a little bit

The numbness/burning started to rapidly travel up Miku’s leg. She grunted and shook her foot. But… she couldn’t feel it. She looked down and… half of her leg was gone! Miku shrieked in fear as she fell down.  She then sighed. She now knew what was happening. Miku smiled as she heard a tear drop to the floor. She began again, even louder and bolder then before.

Both our hands are empty

Our words have been a little sad recently

Why, why is that? Come on notice it faster

Oh! You absolutely don't understand it, understand it ever!

The numbness/burning had now reached Miku’s heart. The pain was almost unbearable.  She didn’t dare look down at herself or give up though. This final act would be her best ever! By this point she was practically screaming. But you know in a sing song voice. Full of that Mikuness Miku was famous for.

"Be more careful." And you turned away

And as that last scream left her lips, Miku lie completely still and thought of something… a noise. It was a beautiful noise, full of life and hope. Miku smiled as she tilted her head one last time. This noise had become a sound. The sound a melody. The melody a song. Miku decided she would call this song, as it had become, The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku. Miku slowly closed her tear filled eyes and thought of her friends, and especially Master. Miku then whispered something so softly you could barely hear it,

“Suki desu…”
