READING LISTS

- We look out for #LitReads hashtagged stories (our recommended and preferred reading pool). We will occasionally look at direct message submissions, but please DO NOT post your stories on our wall. As always, building a relationship/connection first is important!

- Note that just like in the publishing industry and literary magazines, not all works, submitted or not, will be chosen due to various factors, but we try to be as inclusive as possible as long as it can stand alone as and be considered as well written literary prose. Please try and understand what we look for by seeing our reading lists.

- Chosen work will first be added to our Category Reading Lists which includes Novels, Novellas, Excerpts (lengthy works); Shorts, Flash, Collections (short works); Non-fiction, Memoirs, Plays, Essay (mixed genre); and in the future, Poetry may be added as an extra (though it is its own genre and not under the scope of literary prose)

- These Category works will be rotated every week, so if it was added early on, it will appear at the front of the list again.

- One work will be featured once every two weeks by members of our team from the Category pools, read, added to our Featured Reads list and extensively reviewed, perhaps including a deeper analysis of themes and ideas!

- All chosen work, Category or Featured, will be given a #LitReads award sticker to put on the cover, but this is optional up to the author's discretion. This sticker is a professional looking brand to give each writer the recognition they deserve and attract new readers. As a community, we also encourage directing attention to our fellow writers via #LitReads and the LiteraryFiction network account!

- Not all works tagged #LitReads are officially Literary Fiction reads, as it is a way of submission, please look for works with the sticker or see our reading lists!
