L o o k & L i s t e n

i look down when i talk to you because my face looks something a little like this when i talk and that's not attractive

and yes broken muscles were no match to how i feel
but when you're here
i want to disappear
from the ears
of the trees,
bending down to listen to my voice
when i can't speak up 

and my neck may hurt from all the looking down but that doesn't mean that the words hurt less the moment i hear
it in my ear,
from the trees,
bending down to look at my face
when i can't look up

stupid trees. always there to look and listen. but they don't reach deep enough to see or hear me. 

befriending the ground was a good thing it was never above me, nor does it need anything to see or hear me.

But nor does it listen or look. 

stupid ground. never looks or listens. 

befriending the sky was a bad idea, it was never below me, nor does anything to see or hear me.

it follows me around like a predator, ready to swallow me up anytime, with no warnings.

I tried to befriend the air, who was always there, always above and below me, hears me, sees me, but you can't see it.

you see, it was looking down when it blew passed your face because when it speaks, you don't look and that it thinks it's not attractive.
So it decided to disappear. 

is this weird? 😂 hehe
