Marco sighs before talking, "Help me get over someone."
I roll my eyes on him. "User! So, how long do you plan to use me?"
He sighs, "I've been single for three years."
"And you cannot move on?"
He shakes his head several times.
"What can I do?"
"Just be there like a friend."

The rest of the night, Marco keeps insisting himself as my date. I have no choice because he had my family to back him up. I smile, "Okay, I will be there by ten."
"Are you sure?" He winks, "I will just pick you up"
"No!"
"I will give you books from Dawn Lanuza, Carla de Guzman, and Racquel Sarah A. Castro."
I want to say YES but I want more books from romanceclass.
He tries again, "Plus MVE's New Releases."
Hmmm . . . if he will give me a book from all the #romanceclass authors, maybe I will say yes.
"Don't worry. I am not attracted to you. I am just giving you a favor." He sighs.
"What?" I yell. "Oh . . . I must thank you for bribing me with books of my favorite authors?"
"Plus Talk Nerdy to Me?" He tries again.
"Six de los Reyes' books?"
He nods, "I will add C.P Santi's and Ana Valenzuela's too?"
That's a very nice bribe but . . . I want it all!
He sighs, "Okay. Last try." He pauses for about 5 minutes. "A book of your choice from all the romanceclass authors."
"Yaman!"
Marco frowns. "I joined the paper cutting competition in Japan. And I won!"
"Yabang!"
Marco's shoulders drop. "What's the next Y?"
"Yes!" I blink.
"All right! I will pick you up by 10!" He smiles at me. "I must go home now."
After a long discussion, I finally agree on Marco's idea. "See you, tomorrow?"
He winks. He gives me a bookbed sticker. How did he know I am a writer too? He waves goodbye and kisses me again. This time, it lands on my cheeks.
Yes. I am more of a poet. I wrote poems since High school.
The next morning, it is my most anticipated day! #ALLTHEFEELS, here we come!
Marco arrives with me at MOA! I cannot believe I agreed on this one.
"It's the 37th year!"
He smiles, "I first attended the bookfair when I was eight."
"30 years ago?"
He frowns at me, "I am not that old! 20 years ago!" And he grins.
After our lunch date, Marco drags me to the BDAP booth to purchase what he promised.
I have almost 25 books from Indie Authors that I love.
The excitement continues because #ALLTHEFEELS will start in just a few minutes.
Here we are. My fan girl self observes the crowd. They are mostly ladies in their 20s and 30s. Mina waves at Marco. He knows her? He, on the other end, points at me.
Mina smiles at us. It is fun to see her gearing up towards the center stage.
I whisper to Marco, "Do you really know MVE!"
We enjoy the live reading from Gio, Gab, Migs and Grace. Marco is so annoying that he captures through his phone all my kilig feels when it is time to read novellas from Carla de Guzman, Miren B. Flores, Tara Frejas, Agay Llanera, Mina V. Esguerra, and Six de los Reyes.
I whisper. "Can you buy me those books?"
"Why should i?" Marco winks.
"Edi ako na lang bibili!" I pout at him.
He goes to the table and buys all the books that I requested.
When I got the books in my hands, I hear Mom calling me, "Sweetheart! Wake up! You are late for ALLTHEFEELS."
