A DEMON'S LOVE

May nakapagsabi sa akin na may rason kung bakit tayo nabubuhay. Hindi lang para maging masaya tayo kundi para makaramdam ng iba't ibang emosyon. They say that I am too weird to handle but I don't care about what they say.

I believe in impossible. I'm believing in the most impossible things and maybe that's why I was played by the bitter destiny.

I never trusted anyone. I never opened my windows for people because it was marked in my heart that they will leave me in the most excruciating way. I'm always putting up walls for them not to enter my life, because I don't want to experience the feeling of being left behind once again.

Kaya naman mas pinipili ko ang mag-isa. Mas gugustuhin ko pang mag-isa na lang dahil nakakasanay naman. I would rather be alone than to be with people who will just leave me afterwards.

The person whom I can trust with everything about me is my grandmother. She has never wavered in her love for me, and I appreciate that a lot. However, sometimes I doubt her stories about what lies behind my life. Minsan, hindi ko alam kung nagsasabi ba siya ng totoo at kung hindi naman, bakit kailangan niyang magsinungaling? However, I chose to understand her and accept everything that happened in the past. After all, my grandmother is the only person I have, which is why I'm obeying her.

All in a sudden, natagpuan ko na lang ang sarili ko na kinukwestyon ang lahat. Hindi ko alam kung bakit o para saan pero ang alam ko, dahil sa taong minsan ko palang minahal, ang taong naging malaking parte pala ng buhay ko.

It was mournful, and the feeling devours me, but it was priceless. It was worth it, and I will never forget him despite the heaven's condition, which is erasing my memories. Yes, I met someone I can call my love. He made me realize that I have him at the very time. I just found out the biggest secret between his gleeful yet mysterious demeanor because the person I fell in love with-

is a demon.

Yes. He is a demon and this is his story, our story. A Demon's Love.

I wrote and posted this story back in 2016, but I decided to unpublish it on Wattpad after a few months because I felt like there were a lot of holes and details left unexplained. In 2017, I started revising the story, but I didn't get the chance to finish the revision. I published the revised first half of the story for the second time, but I still felt something wasn't right, so I unpublished it again. I continued to revise, publish, and unpublish this story countless times. After years of deciding what to do, what to add or remove from this story, I'm finally settled and happy with the outcome. Now, I've decided to post it here.
