Neil – hi, Neil here.
Oh so this is the name of that rude guy' she thought before saying;
Avni – Neil who?
Neil – Neil the guy who called you an idiot.
Avni – oh, it's you.
She said because she didn't really know what else to say to that.
Neil – yeah it's me.
Avni – so, not to sound rude or anything, but why are you calling me?
Neil – well....
He fumbles suddenly getting cold feelings in the knees.
He is regretting calling her now.
Avni – well?
She asked impatiently, arching one of her perfect brows up.
Neil – I remembered.
He said feeling entirely too stupid.
Avni – remembered? Remembered what?
She asked now feeling entirety too clueless as to where the conversation is going.
Neil – yes, I remember what happened between us.
He answered biting his lips, still regretting making the call.
Avni – oh, and?
She asked because she has nothing else to say.
Neil – and what? I just thought to tell you that.
Avni – seriously?
Avni asked incredulously.
Neil – yeah?
Avni –okay, so now that you have told me, bye.
She said feeling very annoyed with the call and Neil himself.
Neil – wait!
Avni – now what?
Neil – well, I thought that maybe I should apologize also.
He said feeling sheepish with his other hand ruffling his hair.
Avni – you thought?
She said with surprise and confusion.
Neil – yeah, I did.
He affirmed.
Avni – so...
She started hoping he will understand that she is waiting for him to apologize to her.
Neil – so yes, I am sorry but it was not really my fault that I called you an idiot. It is yours actually.
He said quickly wanting to get done with the conversation as soon as possible.
Avni – mine? How is it my fault?
Avni asked incredulously. All ready to argue with him because he is annoying her so much at that moment.
Neil – well it was you that called me by 12am. I mean, what do you expect when you disturb a guy who is trying to sleep at midnight? A tired guy at that. I didn't even know I called you an idiot. I didn't really realize I said it. It came out subconsciously.
