You opened the door only to see a shivering Karkat.
You let him in then chuckled,
"Not any warmer in here!"
"I THINK-K-K I REAL-L-LIZED TH-TH-THAT" He said, his teeth chattering.
You walked over to the couch and tossed him a blanket. He took off his coat and hid his head in his sweater, still shivering.
He was so cute!
"So did you walk here or something?"
"NO, YOUR HIVE IS TOO FAR TO WALK TO IN THE COLD!" He sat next to you.
"KANKRI DROPPED ME OFF"
"Then why were you shivering?"
"ITS COLD!"
"Your not the one that walked!"
"THAT WAS YOUR FAULT!!"
You both started to smell the sweet aroma of the brownies.
His face lit up.
"WHAT IS THAT SMELL!"
"I baked some brownies."
"WHAT'S A BROWNIE?" He said making a puzzled face.
You went to the kitchen cupboard to get the oven mitts. You took the tray out of the oven and placed it on the counter top, right in front of Karkat.
He looked up at you, as if to ask if it was okay.
So cute!
You motioned for him to taste one.
He loved it.
"So!"
"Hmph?" Brownie crumbs fell from his cheeks.
"Shall we watch that movie?" You said with a smirk.
He hesitated before agreeing,
"F-FINE" he huffed and stuttered a bit.
He looked nervous.
A grin spread across your face.
Perfect.
"Y/N!"
"Yeah?"
"SO, WHAT MOVIE IS IT?"
"[Insert favorite horror movie]" Your grin growing wider.
"SHIT" he muttered under his breath.

Karkat moved closer to you whenever he got scared, which was all the time. He jumped at every sound and moved his knees up to cover his face, it was really adorable.
Now he was leaning on your arm, you looked at him then back at the screen. He noticed then tried to move away before you pulled him back. He didn't object. He was blushing a bit from embarrassment, at least thats what you thought. His ears were a bright shade of red, and you saw it on his cheeks too. It was unlike him, but you enjoyed it.
You felt a vibration.
The fuck?
"Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
Holy shit
Is he purring?
Karkat was indeed purring.

The movie was over, he was still clinging to your arm. You held him tightly. For a moment you forgot the heater was broken.
"Um Y/N?" He blushed.

"Can you maybe... Let go now?"
You were disappointed.
You let go of him and checked your phone.

He got up and grabbed a slice of pizza.
You didn't want him to go, but you knew he had to.
He took the rest of the brownies, then headed out the door. Kankri was waiting for him.
