"Oh hi, Marie you must be wondering what that was about back there, well Ethan has been cheating on you, with me. He'll come over at night after he leaves you" she said with a tone cold as ice and a smile, her friends stared laughing,
"I know that, congrats. But what is really sad about that Lindsay is that you are always on the side. When was the last time you actually had a boyfriend not a hookup?" I replied laughing and kept walking, she can't get to me. I threw my bag over my shoulder and headed to Ethan's bike. I saw Ethan walking out of the school, he had just showered, and his hair was wet and shining in the sun. He walked out of the door flipping his hair, I missed him so much, and
"Hey baby, ready to head to the house?" he asked in a deep, gorgeous voice. He walked over and placed his right hand firmly on my waist, his left found his way to the back of my neck. He pulled me in and kissed me softly, the kiss lasted for a while until his phone started going off in his pocket,
"Hello mum, yes we are about to leave I got caught up in the showers. Yes ma'am we are on our way now, okay bye-" he hung up his phone,
"-Ready to head out of here baby?" he asked me as he slid his phone into his pocket, he leaned in to kiss me one more time. I broke the kiss but was still close to his lips, our foreheads pressed together,
"We should probably get going" I spoke softly, he nodded and we were off to his house.

"Marie! Come in, I haven't seen you in such a long time!" his mum greeted us as we came in the door,
"You can throw your stuff in my room if you want" Ethan said, dragging me down the hall. I walked over to his couch and tossed my bag down, I felt his hands on my hips then wrapped around me and rested his head on my shoulder,
"So, I want to ask you something" he whispered into my ear,
"Okay, go for it" I replied with a big smile on my face,
"Well, I haven't gotten to ask you and I think we are ready. Marie, will you please, please, please make me the happiest guy in the world and be my girlfriend?" he half whispered, half spoke; I didn't know what to say. That question caught me way off guard,
"Ethan-" I started but was cut off by him turning me around, now I was facing him. I placed my tiny hands on his arms feeling every muscle, I looked up into his gorgeous deep blue eyes,
"Marie, I know what you are going to say I just thought I should ask-" he kept babbling on and on,
"Yes" I slipped in to the middle of one of his sentences,
"I hope you'll say, wait, yes?" he asked me, I just nodded with no reply. He picked me up, wrapped his arms around my lower back so I was taller than his, I leaned down and kissed him,
"Mum, she said yes you can stop listening at the door now" he yelled at the door, hearing the floor squeak then the door creak open slowly.
"I wasn't listening at the door, I was bringing up cookies for you two. Let me just say Ethan has been absolutely devastated over your holiday. He made the biggest mistake of his life" she blushed adding in her opinion,
"Thank you mum, you can leave them on my table." he rolled his eyes, I smacked his chest,
"I like this girl, keep her Ethan." she repremanded as she placed the tray on the table. She closed the door and I ran over to Ethans bed and jumped to find the remote.
"Come on, cutie." I patted the bed next to me, he climbed up and snuggled next to me. He kissed my neck and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"One thing, we need to tell Alice." He grimmaced at the thought of what just came out of my mouth.
He rolled out of bed and pulled me along with him,
"Mum?" He yelled from down the hall, no reply,
"Mother?!" His voice a little more pissed off this time,
"I'm in the kitchen, love." she said and continued to hum her little song,
Ethan pulled me down the hall into the kitched, I pulled up the bar stool and sat down. He came up behind me and rested his head on my shoulder and tenderly kissed my neck,
"Are you staying for dinner tonight, Marie?" she asked sweetly,
"Oh no ma'am, I need to get home to Alice." I smiled in reply, she turned back around to stir her noodles on the stove. Ethan leaned around and kissed me quickly,
"We're going to head out mum, I'll probably be home tonight." he trailed off knowing his mum doesn't ike it when he stays the night,
"You will be home tonight, Ethan Jonah." she said firmly, he rolled his eyes and pulled me out the door.
We walked out to his car and he pinned me up against the door; I giggled as he leaned down and kissed me. He bit my bottom lip and slid his hands down to my lower back,
"Marie," he groaned as I ran my fingers through his hair, he tried to slide them lower to my butt. I smacked him on the chest before he could get there,
"Excuse me sir, no." he laughed and opened my door for me.
"Well, here goes nothing." he sighed as he started the car, "Let's go talk to Alice." I heard the fear behind his words.
