"Alice, make sure to lace it up tight," I said as I stared at myself in the mirror, running my hands over my dress,

"I want to look really skinny," I finished, sucking in my chubby belly,

"Girl, you already are skinny," she gleamed, no matter what happens Alice is always in a good mood and peppy,

"Thanks Alice, but still make me look skinny," I replied looking in the mirror; my white little dress, my simple messy bun, and barely any makeup, today is the day I'm marrying Ethan Jonah Hunt. I've been waiting for this day for five long, years, finally. I sat down on the bright, green couch to put on my navy blue vans; I started to remember every moment we spent together. A smile slowly spread across my face, Alice stood in front of me and gave me a long look up and down inspection,

"You look so beautiful!" Alice cried, pulling me in for a hug,

"Alice, please no tears until after the wedding," sniffling I pulled her off me,

"I'm sorry honey, today is going to be the best day of your life!" she squeaked, I rolled my eyes and made my way over to the window. I looked down to see my man standing in the courtyard of the club house we “rented” for our wedding; he was in his  grey dress pants, his white dress shirt that had the last few buttons unbuttoned and the sides un-tucked, his dark, brown hair a mess, and he needed to shave. Anyway he looked, he looked amazing, he brought his right hand slowly to the back of his neck, and his left brought his coffee cup up to his lips. I smiled stupidly to myself, only a few more hours and I'll be married to him,

“What are you and Ethan doing for your honey moon?” Alice asked as she slipped on her little, bright pink dress,

“He said he has something special planned,” I replied, still looking down at him,

“Are you nervous?”

“If you’re thinking what I’m thinking, yes. I’m super scared,” I am, I’m horribly scared of what follows the wedding. I never wanted to have kids; the fact of making them grossed me out. I flinched,

“Grossed out?” Alice laughed, I nodded in reply.

Jack pulled up his car to the cabana we found on the property, we couldn’t afford a place to hold the wedding; basically we found an empty cabana, we are going to try to get married before they kick us out. Jack turned on some slow music that was my queue; I stepped out of the little, brick building we used at a dressing room. The sun was shining brightly, beating down on my silky skin and making my eyes sparkle. Jack took my clammy hand to walk me down the aisle we created,

“You look so beautiful today, Marie,” he said with tears forming in his sea green eyes. I’ve known him forever, he was there when my dad stepped out, when he came back into my life, and when he passed away,

“I love you, Jack,” he leaned down and kissed my cheek. I looked down the aisle to see Ethan; standing tall, clean cut, eyes sparkling brighter than they ever have before. He smiled at me and I quickly returned a smile, he was waiting for me, a single tear streamed down his cheek. After that, I lost it.
