I walk over to the swing pushing myself like I did when I was little..on my own I don't know what's got into Liam lately I'm just glad we're okay now
'I'm not a kid anymore' I say getting off the swing and walking away with a smile everything seems positive again maybe I shouldn't leave after all
BACK TO THE PRESENT
'How did it go' the lads say seeing me walk in they're with Lily Carmen and tee
And they're grinning
ugh they know don't they course they do
'sorry it just kinda slipped out' Johnny says I roll my eyes
'don't tell her. I mean it!' I say trying to be menacing but like Tracy said to me once it was an act
'we won't' they all say smiling
I nod accepting this 'it went really well she doesn't hate me anymore' I say
'I never did..is that what you thought?' Tracy says behind me everyone scrambles upstairs
'Yeah..' I say as everyone walks out
'listen..I'm sorry I made you feel that way but we're okay now aren't we?' she says
I nod taking her hand she shakes her head and pulls me into a hug it was tighter than usual I couldn't help but linger
The smell of her perfume her necklace tickling my cheek the chain cold but warm against her neck she pulls away so I do we're so close to each other I can hear her heart thudding.
I feel myself turning red so I walk away
'thanks' I say
'no worries whatever's going on you can talk to me you know?' She says softly giving me her smile I nod and go to meet the others just in time too as mike comes in
'what was all that about?' He says
'just trying to make Liam feel better i know the rules but he needed a hug' she says mike nods
'I don't know what's got into him' she says walking away
'I'll talk to him, oh and tracy' he says she turns round her hair catching the sunlight making her glisten
'yep?' She says simply
'thanks for all the help today especially as you didn't have to come in' he says, she nods
'no problem see you tomorrow' she says giving him a grin and walking down the slope out the fence and round the corner full of perspective and happiness but for some reason Liam was on her mind she couldn't put her finger on it but she found herself thinking of him
