Chapter 15: Why Renae

Liam is so fine, just lip drooling fine

Right now we are in a meeting, with some stupid guy who wants to buy the buisness

I should be writing notes, but why does it matter? The guy is going to lose the argument anyway

I'd rather be looking at Liam....

I need to stop, he just got off a relationship with my be- I mean ex- bestfriend

Yup you heard me, she ended it, but hopefully she will stop this pettiness

I look at Liam

The way his pink lips move quickly while he is talking, the way he runs his hands through his hair while fustrated, he's just so....perfect

Before I knew it, the meeting was already over, and all I had was Liam's name doodled all over paper

How embarrassing

We walked back in his office, the guy obviously lost his bet and I was supposed to give him my notes

"Hand them over" Liam said while extending his hand

I licked my lips and looked around nervously

"If you weren't staring at me, then you would have got something done" he said with a smirk

"Wha- huh? What are you-"

He rolled his eyes and threw me a gorgeous smile

"Don't give me that crap Renae, you know you want me"

I froze, he knew?

He started to laugh

Is anyone else confused?

"Don't look so scared. I was playing!"

I laughed nervously

His hand touched my chin, and he slowly pulled me closer and closer...

Was he going to kiss me again??!

I hope so

Then he whispered in my ear

"Stay after work for some time"

I blushed, did I really think he was going to do that

I walked away, so happy I was a dark shade

I did my work steadily, and soon the office was closing

Everyone had left except for me and Liam

I was already getting nervous

I walked in his office

"Yes Liam?"

I bit my lip nervously

He stood up from his chair and sat on his desk

"I need you to do a favor.....a big one"

I nodded slowly for him to go on

A favor?

He sighed "I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend"

Did he think I was Maybelle?

He must have noticed my face because he quickly added "For one day"

Don't get me wrong, I would love to be this spicy tamale's girlfriend, but it's fake and I don't want that

"For what?"

"Well.....My parents is having a dinner and they wanted to see my new girlfriend I told them about, so they told me to bring her along but..."

I nodded, understanding

I'll just have to do it, his family looks
kind anyway

"Sure...I'll Do it"

He looked so surprised

"Really? Then okay"

I giggled at his face

"We have to match"

I actually loved matching, me and Adam used to do that.....you know what? Forget Adam

"Uhh...okay" I said trying to not sound excited

"I'll pick you up tomorrow at 3?"

I forgot there was no work

"Yeah"

And we ended up going separate ways

Liam's pov

This girl.....oh my God, she will be the death of me, the first moment I laid eyes on her at that cheap diner, I knew she was a princess

She is so beautiful, her smooth chocolate skin, and deep dark eyes..

I don't even know how I keep my sanity around her

But I don't have a chance

I always try to make her jealous, but she doesn't even care

I dated, kissed, pretended I had sex wih her bestfriend for crying out loud and she showed no emotion

She's always blushing, and biting and licking her lips...

I just want to kiss her over and over again

When we had that kiss at the party, and she kissed me back, it was so intoxicating until she pushed me off

I had invited her to some family dinner, my parents wanted to meet Kelly so bad, but now we're over, (finally) I'm bringing Renae instead

Little does she know I could've easily cancelled the dinner, but I want to see her in one of them sexy dresses, like at the party

It showed off her curves so well

I want to tell her what I feel so bad, but I'm afraid she'll run off

I know she's been through some stuff, my maid who undressed her at my house told me she was filled with cut marks and bruises on her body

I don't know who did that to my beautiful princess but if I knew, that person would be dead

She also has something going on with that light skin guy......I think his name was Adam?

She seemed kind of on edge with him, I can tell they had history, and I want to know, but that will have to wait

A single touch from her, immediately lights my body on fire

When we shared our few hugs, I felt like she was mine and only mine, no one could hurt her, no one could still her away

And when she calls my name in that little shy voice of hers, I just melt

I do everything just to get a touch from her, but sometimes she gets me mad

She makes that gay boy, troye, take her on dates and let's him hug her. But I can't whenever I want?

Does he notice how lucky he is?

I can't wait to go shopping with her tomorrow, and buy her anything she lays her eyes on

I hope it works, cause my other plans were failures

I want her to like me, why can't she like me, am I not perfect enough???
