First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for reading this story.
It's my longest finished poem yet, and I'm really proud of how far it's come and how much farther it can go.
I've never written acknowledgements before, so here goes.
I want to especially thank @bookowl13 for her unwavering, continuous support of this project.
Lucy, every time I posted a chapter, I would wait for your comments. I genuinely appreciate every single one of them, because I know you care and you were always dutifully waiting for my next update. Sometimes, when I got into writing ruts and I couldn't figure out what to write, or I was thinking about giving up, I would go back and read all of the comments you've left for me and I knew I was doing this not only for myself but for someone who genuinely enjoys reading it. That kept me going through 38 chapters, and I'm grateful for our Internet friendship; without it, this story would never be finished, and I would never be writing this.
This story, in its entirety, is dedicated to you.
RIP Robin Williams. He was a great man; and it's so sad that someone who can bring such joy and light to others could not find it in himself. This story is also dedicated to his memory.
