The past

Y/n POV

"Hey Rosco" I asked
"Yeah sweetheart" he said
"What was it like for you before this"
"Well I had a wife and three children" he said smiling
"What were their names" I asked
" my wife's name was Jane then my oldest son was Mark middle son was Jack and then my youngest was a girl her name was Elizabeth" he said and then he started crying "we all lived here and we were so happy until the world came to this and no one knew what to do so one day me and my sons went out to look for food and see if there was any survivors but we didn't find anyone so we just went for food and when we came out a herd came at us and got both of my sons and when I got home my wife was one of those things and she was eating our daughter" he said crying and I couldn't just sit there so I went over and hugged him

"I'm sorry I shouldn't of asked" I said
"No it's fine" he said wiping his tears away and then mine but I didn't know I was crying until he did that
"What about you" he asked me

"Well I mean i didn't get to grow up slot because the world went to this when I was ten but I had a happy life I was a straight A student and I was in all kinds of sports and my dad always took me hunting and fishing and he taught me how to shoot a gun while mom on the other hand took me shopping even though I didn't want to but I did it for her" I said laughing a little bit
"Do you know where your family is now" he asked
"Yeah I have my uncle and my dad but my mom died at the begging" I said sadly
"I'm sorry" he said
"It's ok"
"I should get going before all hell breaks loose when they find out I'm gone but I'll come visit you tomorrow ok" I said standing up
"Ok but be carful" he said hugging me
"I will and you to ok" I said and he nodded

Carl's POV

I've been trying to find y/n but I can't find her anywhere and I'm starting to get worried

"WHERE IS Y/N" I yelled and everyone just looked at me and I ran over to Daryl's Merle's and y/n place and knocked on the door and Merle answered
"Where is she" I said glaring at him
"I honestly don't know" he said
"Yes you do"
"Baby grimes I told you I don't know where she is" and with that he closed the door in my face
