He was undercover as Jimin and Taehyung's friend to find out who killed his bosses friends.

And yes he was on the case for three years.

That's how much the boss cares for them.

Hoseok was suspicious of Taehyung but didn't say anything, he didn't actually like Namjoon either.

He was pretending to be the shy an vulnerable boy to fit in.

Jimin had nothing to do with anything.

He was just sent to Japan because his parents were going to jail for abusing Taehyung.

Taehyung killed his parents for a reason that will be explained next chapter.

They helped cover up the murder for Taehyung and in exchange he would have to protect their son and get a place to stay in.

They weren't satisfied so they beat him.

And Jimin's dad is a Detective and Jimin's mother is an Agent.

Jungkook was also suspicious of Taehyung but let it go once he left.

And Yoongi and Namjoon are innocent.
