Brian's P.O.V.

I had a terrible day at class today and I couldn't wait to get home. When I return home, I always feel relaxed. No matter how bad my day was, I could go home to the one I love most and everything would be fine.

I was walking home and the closer I got to my house, the happier I became. I loved walking in that door and being greeted by those adorable baby blues and strong arms wrapping around me. I walked up the small steps and opened the door, stepping inside. I was not greeted by the precious face I longed to see, nor was I wrapped in the warm arms that were strong from years of drumming. I was greeted by silence. I knew he had to have home because the door was unlocked and the lights were on. I was dissapointed at first, but the dissipointment turned into fear. What if something bad happened to him?

"Roggie?" Nothing. The only sound came from the ticking clock that hung on the wall. I dropped my stuff down on the kitchen table and ventured into the living room. "Roger, love.... are you home?" The pounding in my chest grew, making my chest feel tight as I quickly made my way to the bathroom. The door was cracked open and I pushed on the wood, making it creak as it slowly opened. It revealed an empty room. Water languidly dripped from the faucet and I walked over to the sink, twisting the knob to rid the room of the noise.

I left the room and walked down the hallway to the bedroom. Maybe he fell asleep and didn't hear me. I grasped the cool, metal door knob and slowly turned it in my hand. "Roger?" I pushed the door open and the relief swept over me as I noticed a sound figure sitting on the bed, facing the window. I rushed over to him and placed my hand on his shoulder, lightly shaking him. He contined to stare out the window with a sarcastic look painted on his face and his arms crossed.

"Roger... what are you doing? Is everything alright?" I was deeply worried and knelt down in front of him but he didn't make eye contact with me and shifted his body to remove my hand from him.

I had to admit, that did hurt me greatly.

"Roger?" I looked at him with pained eyes, but he snapped his head in the other direction. "D-did I do something wrong? Because if I did, I'd like to know what it was." I gently placed my hand on his knee.

He eyed my hand but didn't recoil from it. I took this has a sign to continue.

"You know I'd never want to hurt you. Roger, one cannot live without a world... you are my world." He bit his bottom lip and looked down at his feet as I stood to sit beside him on the bed.

"Look Rog, I didn't exactly have a good day today but I smiled the whole way home. Do you know why?" He tilted his head up and finally made eye contact with me.

I slid closer to him and brought my hand higher on his thigh. " Because I was looking forward to seeing you. My day instantly get a thousand times better once I step in that door and I see your smiling face. I love the way look at me and hug me, letting me talk about my day. I love you Roger."

He dropped his hands down to his eyes and shook his head. "Oh Brian."

He slung his arms around me and hugged me tight. I wrapped my arms across his back and rested my cheek on top of his head.

"I love you too Brian."

I pulled him away from my body to look him in the eye. "Then why were you ignoring me?"

A shy smile played on his lips and he blushed. "I don't even remember now."

We both chuckled before I pressed his warm lips against mine, savoring the sweet taste of his minty lips.

He broke the kiss and ran his hand across my thigh. "Why did you have such a bad day?"

I chuckled and ran the pad of my thumb across the warm skin of his cheek. "I don't even remember."

He pulled me into another hug and rested his head on my chest.

"I just love you so much."

I pulled us both to lay on the bed. "I know you do. I love you too."
