this is the story they don't tell you about
the reason fairytales don't have sequelsthere are monsters that live
beneath our skin
(i name mine fear, fury and sin)
and sometimes they masquerade as peoplethey don't tell you how they crawl
up your throat like a scream in the night
and leave you choking on your breathhow the villain often lies awake
in the clutches of living deaththis is the story they don't tell you about
but it's one you know too well
the story of the stains that never wash outa story you'll never tell.
