As I was saying about the scenes with Lucifer and Chuck in the bunker, could you imagine how different that would have gone with a mother in the mix?? She'd be pulling him out of his room by the ear. I don't know about you but mums have scary powers. Like the full name!! I don't care how calm you are, your mother calls you by your full name, middle name and all, you're toast!! Anyway, enjoy :)

What else was new? Team Free Will were fighting Lucifer and his forces in the battle of the fifteenth Armageddon. Things were looking a bit bleak. In an attempt to isolate Lucifer from them, the boys lit up holy fire but it served more to trap their own ally Castiel on the same side as Lucifer. There wasn't much they could do either. The pair were fighting demons and couldn't seem to shake their fight to help Cas. Cas was fighting Lucifer. The fallen archangel clearly outclassed him but it didn't stop him from fighting. Lucifer was holding him by the throat and was starting to push him closer and closer to the flames. Just before he reached them though, they all extinguished simultaneously. The demons all died immediately. Lucifer was still a little wrapped up in killing his brother to notice Sam and Dean were no longer fighting. Cas too had stopped. Then he heard it. The echo from down the hall made him freeze and look over, dropping Castiel. It was a sweet, silvery voice that merely hummed a tune that calmed each warrior in the room for no one could fight while listening to the songs their mother sang to them. Sam and Dean couldn't get over the complete change in both angels. Lucifer had lost all interest in fighting and Cas hadn't moved from the ground. From down the hall they spotted a ghostly figure, slowly walking towards them. Her dark hair fell down over her shoulders and she wore a white dress that fell below her knees. She walked along barefoot. As she got closer, the Winchesters could make out her face. She had warm hazel eyes that remained fixed on Lucifer as she approached, unafraid. Her rosy lips curved into a smile as she walked straight up to him, placing a warm hand on his cheek. As the boys were distracted by her, they had not even noticed a tear running down Lucifer's face. She wiped it away with her thumb,

"Come now, my angel" She said. Her voice was softer than the impala's purr, "Why so sad?"

"Mother" Lucifer's lip quivered, his voice not able to go above a whisper. She wrapped an arm around him, pulling him close,

"I've missed you" The boys could see her fighting off her own tears, a sad smile sat faintly on her face. Sam and Dean backed up when large, white feathered wings uncurled from her back and wrapped around Lucifer. The fallen angel couldn't hold back his emotion any longer and visibly broke down. He sobbed loudly, falling to his knees as she held him. She sat down on the ground with him, "Shh, it's ok" She said, "I'm here" Finally he lifted his head from where he had buried it in her shoulder,

"Mother, where have you been?" He asked. She simply smiled, taking his face in her hands,

"I've been waiting" She replied, "I was hurt by your fall Lucifer. I wanted to see you for so long but you were never ready to see me"

"I've always wanted to see you again" He replied. Her smile grew slightly sadder before she shook her head,

"No. I could tell in your heart, you were too clad in hate for your father" She said. She turned her head to Castiel who was still frozen in place. Her smile grew and she used her wing to pull him closer to her reach, "My little Cassie" She stroked through his hair and he seemed to snap out of his shock,

"Mother" He was still stoic, trying desperately to keep a hold of his emotions,

"How much you have suffered at the hands of your brothers and still so young" She pulled him to her and kissed his forehead. The boys were immediately shocked when she pulled away to reveal their friend seemed to have regressed into a five year old. His sad blue eyes just seemed to be so much bigger as he looked up at her pleadingly. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him to her with her wing as she finally stood up, pulling Lucifer up with her. Lucifer had nothing but guilt over his face. He only realised now what his actions had cost him. His baby brother was afraid of him, his mother not even recognising him when he had finally returned. He had let his hate for his father's creations break up his family.

"I'm sorry" He swallowed the lump in his throat, clinging to whatever restraint he had left to stop the tears flowing, "I'm so so sorry" She leaned forward, placing a light kiss on his forehead. The Winchesters could just see him now in a teenage form, possibly eighteen,

"I forgive you" She replied. There was nothing that could have stopped the steady stream of tears from his eyes now. While he cried she simply wiped away his tears, holding him closely. Once he had calmed down, she turned now to the Winchesters. Both of them became alert, "Be at ease" She said as she approached, "I just wanted to thank you for looking after my Castiel" She looked down at the child at her side. He was half obscured by her white feathers as she pulled back the wing slightly to see him. He looked up at Sam and Dean, he kept up a brave face despite the swirl of emotions whirl pooling inside of him right now, "I saw both of you, even during his lowest moments you were there for him and I'm glad"

"Well..." Dean started, "He's done the same for us. Probably more actually" He gave a smile to his friend which Cas returned. It looked a lot more adorable now on such a young face,

"I still must thank you. And now we should go home. We have a family to rebuild" She put her other arm around the teenage Lucifer,

"Well if you ever need a babysitter" Dean replied making her smile brighter,

"I'll keep that in mind. Goodbye boys" She replied before the three of them walked out together, leaving the boys in complete silence. Finally Dean nudged Sam,

"I was right about the baby in a trench coat thing" Dean smirked. Sam just sighed, rolling his eyes,

"We should get back to the bunker"
