After gathering her children, she set about freeing her first born, Michael, from the cage. Lucifer lead her through hell, her children accompanying her but no demons would dare attack in Lucifer's presence never mind his mother. She made the fires in hell seem like candle flames as she walked by the cowering souls. Once through the layers of hell, they were in darkness. The only light came from her as she gazed upon the cage suspended in place by chains. She could faintly see movement inside,

"Home sweet home" Lucifer said. It saddened her greatly that this is what her son came to call home,

"Lucifer?" Came a voice inside. Lucifer circled the cage,

"Where's the door in this thing?" He asked,

"There isn't one" Michael said,

"Then how did I keep making prison escapes? This is usually the Winchesters' expertise"

"What are you even doing here?" Michael's voice was deflated, there was no hope in his dull blue eyes that peered through the bars at him. They winced at the light, not having seen any light for years. Once his eyes adjusted, his face lit up as he looked over the woman in front of him, "Mother?"

"We're here to get you out" She replied. As she placed her hand on the cage, it started to glow red hot and melted under her touch. She made the hole wider, allowing the archangel to get free. Once out, she embraced her son, holding him tightly as he clung to her, worried in case she'd leave again. She had no intention to. He was so joyous right now that he barely even noticed Lucifer nor could he be angry in this moment. Lucifer took the opportunity while Michael was happy to approach him,

"Brother?" Michael turned to see his younger brother looking guiltily at his feet, his wings were drooping and for the first time in centuries, Michael could see remorse on his face, "I... I'm sorry" Michael looked at Lucifer. His vessel looked a lot more teenage than the last he'd seen it but he still looked genuine, "Michael?" Michael still hadn't reacted. He was a little too stunned at his brother's turnaround,

"How did-" He started, not really knowing how to respond, looking over at his mother,

"I realised now that what I did was selfish. I messed everything up, we were happy together and I just got jealous and ruined the peace all because I had to be right. So I am sorry" He hung his head. He couldn't even look at his brother who he had fought with and tortured in the cage. He still felt a strong pair of hands wrap around him. He was stunned but immediately hugged his brother back, sighing thankfully that his brother could forgive him,

"I'm so glad to hear that from you Lucifer" He said, "And I still love you little brother, no matter what you've done" Their mother had stood back, smiling that her two eldest were finally on good terms. She discovered a human soul in the cage too. He shied away from the light, terrified it was another trick or that Lucifer was going to hurt him again. She could not leave this child in hell. He did not belong there. He was cowering in the corner so she used one of her soft wings to wrap around him and peel him away from the bars. He finally looked at her fearfully.

"Your heaven has been sitting idle waiting for you Adam" She said as she wrapped her arm around him and pulled him from the cage. He didn't struggle, if anything he had learnt from those mind games that they'd lose interest faster if he played dead. All the angels escorted their mother and older brothers back out of hell and up to heaven. All of heaven sang and were rejoicing as the eldest sons and their mother had returned however she knew that wasn't the end. There was one more member of the family to retrieve before all was well again.
