The secret

And them I spoke

"Sasha what's goi-"

"WAIT I CAN EXPLAIN!! Just please don't tell this to anybody, I beg you!" she said, clearly desperate

"Calm down, I won't tell anybody about the kids, but... why?" I said

"When I was a hero I wanted to put on everyone's face a smile by slaying monster, but I realised something, that I took the smiles away from monsters, and I felt really bad knowing this and so, I retired and took care of the children"

"Sasha..." I said, knowing her grief, back when I was in the arena of the Night Sentinels, I wanted to put a smile on the audience, yet, maybe, I took the smiles of the wives of who's husbands I killed

"No... you can say everything to the inquisition, I have failed as a nun of the Chief God, you can tell on me."

"No" I assured her

"'No'?" she seemed surprised, and then a smile grew on her face

She fell to the wooden floor, crying, I catched her before she hit the ground. She was sobbing on my chest. The monster children were afraid of my height so they moved on the other side of the room.

"Sasha... please, stop crying" I said, trying to calm her down

"*stops crying* I am sorry, Flynn, this is not how a warrior-nun should act" she responded

"There, there it is alright to cry sometimes, no matter how tough and hard-headed you are, sometimes you can't hold it in anymore" I assured her

"Thank you so much Flynn" she said

"For what good is a friend at, if he can't console their friends?"

"Yes, you are right, oh, may I introduce you to the children?" she asks

"Of course I want to know the little ones"

*timeskip in the morning*

We can see the slayer doing his jog in the morning, he was near the end amd decided to go home, he slowed down while near the city. Until he bumped into someone. The person he bumped in was no other than Wilmarina Noscrim... his pupil!

"Oww... my head..." she says

"Are you alright, Wilmarina?"

"Huh? *notices the slayer* o-oh I was looking for you sir for the weekly training."

"Well you came at a good time, I was just going home right now, want to come over and drink a cup of tea?" the slayer questioned her

"Of course sir!"

While we walked to my house we chatted. I had trained with Wilmarina 2 times a week. For 3 weeks she has been practicing with me. Her swordsmanship is amazing to say the least, but she lacks durability in battle, she would tire really fast. She knows how to channel her strenght very good, but still she lacks strenght. So I decided to train her. Actually her father came to me and asked me to train her. I askem him why would I need to train the strongest hero in Lescatia. To make her more powerful than she is now, that's what he told me, I accepted training her. And oh boy it was hell, and I MEAN hell. She would do atleast a 100 pushups with the Doom Slayer's boots and gloves, that clearly weren't light, they were atleast 30 times heavier than normal steel boots and gloves. But somehow she would push trough. And that's only one of the many exercises he used for her. At the end of the day, the slayer would make her a energy drink, a very powerful energy drink, to regain her strenght.

After the training and the energizer, the slayer would challange Willmarina to a duel. Of course, the poor girl didn't have any chance to win against the slayer. It was to easy to the slayer to win over Wilmarina. She wondered where did his powers come from. He doesn't look like he was blessed, hell even if he was blessed Wilmarina would make him atleast sweat, but he never was sweaty 'How strong is this man!?'

After the fight they would talk a little. Wilmarina was asking him how he became so powerful and why doesn't he join the Order to beat the Demon Lord

"That's a secret, I can't tell you how I did become so powerful, and I don't want to join the order because I don't want to kill anymore, I just want a quiet, peaceful and eventless life" he said

'So this man... is a veteran?' Wilmarina said in her mind

"Now, I think it is getting dark, you should go home now, Wilmarina." I said

"Thank you sir once again for today's training, I will go now." she says

"No problem, it is my pleasure, now tell me one more thing before you leave... Are you and Elt a couple?" I ask her, her face goes red and starts stutterin

"N-n-no o-of course n-not!!" She says with a deep red color on her face

I let out a small chuckle 'So cute.'

"I was just messing with you, Wilmarina, now you should go home."

She didn't say anything and went to the exit, then she leaved with a dark red on her face. It was truly adorable. And then I went to sleep.
