May I present to you . . . the braided bun!
Now, this hairstyle may very well be old news to you, but it wasn't for me. I personally could never put my hair in a bun—it'd simply never hold.

Note: I've found that this hairstyle is easiest to do when it's wet.
#1. Put your hair up into a ponytail. (The higher the better)!
#2. Next, go ahead and braid your ponytail.
#3. Lastly, wrap your braid around the start of your ponytail and secure with pins.
