Chapter 22

"I saw Mr. Scorpion's Ig post and I'm jealous." ani Jill na kakabalik lang sa sala kasama si Ali. "How I wish may Jazen din ako."

"Same here, girl. How I wish as well." Jade said. "Ali can't relate." Jade said as she chuckled.

"Excuses, we're not yet official. So, it's still sana all kay Ara." sabi naman ni Ali.

"Still, sana all sa inyong dalawa. You've got a guy na nanliligaw sayo. Ara got her guy na." Jade said, explaining their point to Ali. Ali just nodded.

"Setting those guy topic aside, do you have any plan for summer?" I asked while pouring some drinks on my cup.

"For sure may plans na kayo with your fam this summer." Jade said.

"To be honest, yup. Pero how about us? Wala tayong plan before we spend summer with our fam?" Asked Ali.

"Club hopping as usual. How about a year end party?" Jill suggested.

"Great idea. Sounds better than club hopping lang. Are you guys in?" I asked.

"Sure." Ali said. Jade agreed as well. Before it gets late, we finished our foods and drinks and ended our conversation because Jill and Jade are going back to their condo. Hinatid na din namin sina Jill at Jade sa parking after cleaning up the sala.

"Thank you for tonight, girls! To more night outs with you guys! You're the best!" Jade said.

"Truly, thank you guys!" Jill said.

"Always. Thanks to you guys as well." I said thanking them. "Please do let us know if you guys are home already. See you around!" I said then we waved our goodbyes to them. We then went back to our unit to take some rest.

Two months have passed and today's valentines. This is gonna be my first valentines with Jazen but sadly, I haven't received any text from him yet, since yesterday. We took our exam early this morning that's why we're able to come home early.

"Ara, Kio's waiting outside na. I have to go." Ali said. "Sure ka okay ka lang magisa dito?"

"Oo naman." I answered.

"Wala ba kayong date ni Jazen?" tanong ni Ali at nagkibit balikat lang ako. Nagpaalam siya na aalis na siya dahil nasa labas na ng unit si Kio. They'll be having a date today at ako? Nganga. Feeling ko magdamag lang akong hihiga sa bed ko at maghihintay ng himala.

Ilang saglit pa ay napagdesisyunan ko nang tumayo mula sa bed ko. Pumunta ako sa kitchen para maghanap ng pagkain. Habang naghahanap ng pagkain ay biglang narinig ko ang ringtone ng phone ko, sign na may tumatawag. Kinuha ko ang phone ko mula sa countertop at sinagot ang tawag.

"Hello? Ara!" ani Ali mula sa kabilang linya.

"Oh? What's with the call?" tanong ko.

"Can you pick me up dito sa resto? Kio and I cancelled our date kasi may emergency sa fam nila." Ali said.

"Hala? Okay, wait for me. Magaayos lang ako then I'll pick you up right away." sabi ko. "Send me your exact location."

Nagmamadali akong pumunta sa closet para kumuha ng damit. Nagsuot lang ako ng track pants at fitted crop top. Inayos ko lang ang itsura ko then I headed out of our unit. After locking the door, I then went to the parking lot to get my car.

"Ali!" tawag ko kay Ali na naghihintay sa tapat ng restaurant na mukhang meeting place nila ni Kio. "Kio left you here alone?"

"Ofcourse not. I told him to wait for me inside." Ali said. "Samahan mo ko. I'll get my things inside." ani Ali at sinamahan ko naman siya sa loob.
