It has been a week since Derek went to visit Michelle. He had been there for her. He came to visit almost every day and took her out to different places that they had been to together in the past, hoping that if she got familiar with the environment she would maybe remember something, but still, she doesn't remember a thing. Derek didn't mind though, he was willing to help her for as long as she needed him to.

They had gotten quite close because of the time they spent with each other. Derek was really happy about it. He knew this was his and Nathan's fault, so he was willing to go to any length to help Michelle.

He was disappointed in Nathan. He hasn't paid a visit to Michelle and his daughter. That made Derek angry because Michelle wouldn't have lost her memory if he hadn't been as aggressive as he was the night of the accident. He didn't want to jump to conclusions yet, maybe Nathan had his reasons.

Michelle was glad that Derek was trying to help her get back her memory. He played with Sandra a lot and she liked it. That meant he was fond of the baby. They were really cute, both uncle and niece.

She got to know more things about Derek. He told her that he was her fiance's brother and that he was also a friend of hers. Michelle appreciates the effort he is making to help her. She was also worried about the fact that this 'fiance' of hers hadn't visited her, not once.

What kind of fiance would take his business more seriously than his family? Despite being fully aware that she just got out of the hospital.

Michelle wasn't comfortable with the fact that her baby hadn't seen her father for more than a week. She also needs to see him. Maybe meeting him would help her remember something since they were intimate. Derek was helping a lot but she still couldn't remember anything, maybe she wasn't remembering a thing because he was only a friend.

"Why can't I just remember?" Michelle muttered to herself, already feeling useless.

Ever since the accident, Nathan hasn't been himself. He regrets his actions every single day. Michelle was in her present condition all because of him.

How could he face her? How was he going to look her in the eye? No, he can't do it.

That is why he hasn't visited her since she left the hospital. He was instead drowning himself in alcohol, blaming himself for what happened. He misses his daughter and fiancee so much.

Even though she doesn't remember a thing, going there and acting like everything is normal is a difficult thing for him to do. He can't because it would only mean that he is comfortable with her present condition.

Why did he let his jealousy get the best of him?  Why?

Nathan's mind kept running in circles and always ended up with him blaming himself. He couldn't continue like this. He can't continue living without the two most important people in his life.

He needed his fiancee and child here with him. He needed to be strong for his family. He needed to be a man and not a coward, so he decided to give Michelle a visit. That's what he needs, to face his fears.

Michelle was in the living room with her baby when the doorbell rang. She decided to get the door. She was surprised to see Nathan when she opened the door, he wore a white T-shirt and black pants. He looked much different from the last time she saw him. He looked like he hadn't had some days of sleep.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Hi," she quietly replied.

Michelle didn't know if she was ready to see him anymore. What was she going to say to him?

She invited him in, which he did.

They both took a seat on the couch. Nathan's eyes landed on Sandra who was in a carrycot. He hadn't seen her for a long time. She was so small and beautiful. Seeing her again made him happy. He moved closer to the cot which was on the couch and carried her. She was so small in his arms.

Michelle was enjoying the scene before her, how Nathan was staring at his daughter with much love and affection. Sandra was so comfortable in Nathan's arms. It seems she was fond of the males in the family.

Nathan carefully placed her back in the cot when he noticed that she was slowly falling asleep.

"I'm sorry I haven't come to see you both," Nathan began.

"It's okay," Michelle said which was a lie.

She had wanted to see him. She wanted to know him. She wanted him to be the one to help her pass through this phase.

"My mom told me you went on a business trip... How did it go?" Michelle asked taking Nathan by surprise.

He had no idea Leah was going to excuse his absence. He was internally grateful to her because he didn't have a tangible excuse to give for his absence.

Michelle, on the other hand, was nervous. She didn't know how to start up a conversation with him, that was why she asked about his business trip. She just hoped she hadn't overstepped her boundaries with her question.

"It was fine... Thanks for asking," Nathan replied with a faint smile. He needs his family with him even though Leah thinks otherwise.

"How are you doing?" He asked.

"I must be honest with you, I don't feel okay not having a single idea who I am." she sadly replied.

Nathan felt guilty after hearing that. It was all his fault and now only Michelle was paying for it. If he could switch places with her right now, he would gladly do it so he could see her smiling again.

He suddenly became nervous as he wanted to ask if she would be willing to come back home with him. He didn't know how she was going to feel or react to that.

Michelle was staring at Nathan, she wondered why he became nervous all of a sudden as he was twiddling his thumbs and staring into nothing.

"Nathan... are you okay?" She asked feeling worried about his sudden nervousness.

He turned to look at her and sighed, trying to calm himself.

"Um," he began.

"I was wondering if you would like to come home with me... Maybe seeing your home and getting familiar with it all over again would help you remember."

Michelle was taken aback by Nathan's suggestion. She wasn't expecting him to come up with that, but she was glad he did because she needed him to help her remember something since he was her fiance. Derek and her mom had been trying in their way.

"Yes, I would... If that will help me regain my memory." Michelle replied.

Her reply brought a smile to Nathan's face. He had been scared that she wouldn't accept his proposal. Now, the only thing he needed to do was tell Leah about their decision.

Nathan moved closer to Michelle and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you," he said.

Michelle wondered why he was thanking her. She was the one who should be thankful that the people around her were all eager to help her.

"No... Thank you," she said placing a light kiss on Nathan's lips. She had wanted to do that since he arrived.

Nathan gave her a warm smile after the kiss and brought her close to himself, placing her head on his chest.
