A lot of thoughts have been running through Michelle's head these past weeks. She still couldn't get over Nathan's betrayal. She had always thought that they would both raise their daughter in a healthy happy relationship as a loving family.

She had recently been having memories of her late father and the times they spent when he was still alive. He loved her and her mother so much.

Maybe if he were alive, she wouldn't have to go through all this. No one would've had the audacity to throw insults at her family the way Rebecca did, making her feel less of herself every time they met. Her dad always made sure his family was safe and protected.

She was hurt by Nathan's betrayal and still is, but she has been thinking about Sandra's future. She doesn't want her daughter growing up without her father by her side to guide her through life's journey.

Michelle was already an adult when she lost her father but she knew how difficult it was for her to get over his death because she wasn't fully ready to face the world on her own. She needed his guidance for so many things, which is why she has to make a tough decision now because she doesn't want her child to be bullied or mocked by her peers in the future for not having her father with her.

Michelle has decided to reconcile with Nathan because she didn't want to be selfish, she needed to think not only of herself but also their daughter. She would forgive him because she was certain he wasn't the only one in the wrong, Chloe was also at fault. She had always sounded desperate when it came to matters regarding Nathan.

With all that had happened, Michelle decided that if she and Nathan were to be reconciled, they would move out of Washington as the horrible memories were too much. She knew if she told her mother about her decision, she wouldn't be happy about it but would have to accept it.

Michelle was grateful she had a mother like Leah who took care of Sandra while she was languishing in her sorrow. She would make her mom understand that she was making this decision for the sake of her baby. She didn't want her child to hate her in the future for refusing to forgive her father.

Michelle would accept Nathan back in her life if he came to apologize to her. She wouldn't tell him about her decision until he showed up. So now, all she has to do is wait and be strong for herself and her baby.

Leah had gone out to check on the restaurant, leaving Michelle alone with Sandra. She was in the bedroom with her baby when a maid came into the room to let her know that Nathan was at the door and wanted to know if she should let him in. Michelle contemplated for a few minutes before finally deciding to receive him. She followed the maid to the living room to await Nathan's presence.

"Can you help me get the things in the trunk of my car?" Nathan requested.

"Yes sir," the maid replied before going to get the said things.

"Hi," Nathan nervously greeted Michelle.

"Why are you here?" Michelle calmly asked.

"Um... Sandra turns four months today... I wanted to.. um... Michelle, I needed to see the both of you." He confessed.

The maid came back inside with lots of wrapped presents. Michelle guessed they were all for Sandra.

"All this isn't necessary, Nathan," she said as she noticed the maid still going out to bring in more gifts.

"Can I hold her?" Nathan carefully asked.

Michelle could see how Nathan was pleading with his eyes for her to say yes.
