𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚍𝚢 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 || 𝚔𝚞𝚛𝚘𝚘 𝚡 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛 (fluff)

A/N : okay so, i know this IS a haikyuu lemons book, but i just recently changed the name, as i will only be doing lemons/smuts from now on. i'm still going to be keeping this fluff oneshots here for memories though, so feel free to read :)

"Y/N, wait up!" yelled a masculine voice from behind you. You turned around to see Kuroo running towards you.

"K-kuroo? What is it?" you replied. You and Kuroo were acquaintances, and never really spoke except for when you two were in chemistry class together.

Kuroo had finally made his way to you. "I'm. Professor said you needed some help with the chemistry formulas? He asked me to tutor you. O-ONLY IF THAT'S OKAY WITH YOU THOUGH."

His face turned a light red as he looked away from you. You two WERE standing quite close to one another.

"O-oh! Yeah, I guess I do. I was gonna head to a nearby coffee shop actually. Wanna tag along?" you asked him.

Kuroo wasn't as much of a flirt as you were, and mainly focused on his studies. And volleyball of course.

"Sure." he replied, scratching the back of his head. You turned around, and continued walking, holding your book bag over your right shoulder. Kuroo walked right beside you, and you could feel his presence. He was quite tall.

a few minutes later...

"Here we are! Let's go grab a table, and we can start studying.." you said, opening the door and walking in, Kuroo right behind you.

You and Kuroo chose a two-seated table right by the window, and you both then sat down. Kuroo then placed his bag beside him and pulled out a few textbooks, a black case. After placing the books down on the coffee table, he opened the black case which revealed a black pair of glasses.

As he placed them on his nose, and adjusted them, you couldn't help but stare. Him with glasses made your stomach fill with butterflies. Although you barely knew the boy, you could tell you too would get really close.

"So Y/N, where should we start?" Kuroo asked, smiling. You snapped back to reality, and noticed that his face was just a few inches away from yours.

"Oh! AHEM- right! I guess we could start with h-homework?" you stuttered. You were never a nervous wreck around guys, but Kuroo was different.

Kuroo then grabbed a pencil nearby, and handed it too you. You grabbed it, and couldn't help but blush a little. 'WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?' you thought to yourself.

"Alright then. Let's start with the first problem.."

a few problems later...

'What even is this crap? I really do duck at chemistry.' you thought to yourself. You tapped your pencil on your head a couple of times, until Kuroo reached over and grabbed it from your hand.

"Come on Y/N. You know this one."

You looked up from your homework papers, and faced Kuroo.

"I really do suck at this Kuroo." you said to him.

"Awh come on. Don't say that. Everyone struggles at something. Just like me with cooking!"

"Cooking?"

"Yup. Long story short, I sort of set my kitchen on fire a while back, just because I wanted to cook some ramen."

"Now THAT sucks." you responded, laughing.

"Now, what are the outermost electrons of an atom?" Kuroo questioned.

"Valence electrons?"

"CORRECT! You're gettin' the hang of this kitten."

'K-kitten?' you thought to yourself, as the butterflies in your stomach came rushing back.

"T-this might come off as weird but.. would you wanna hang out more? You seem like such a fun person." Kuroo said, shying his face away from yours.

You were shocked. You never thought he'd be so bold as to say something like this.

"Falling for me already?" you replied. Your words just made him blush even harder. He finally brushed off the feeling, and turned back around to face you.

"You'll be the one falling for me, kitten~" he responded, his face just a few inches away from yours now.

"We'll see about that.." you responded, standing up, and giving him a soft pay on the head.

You packed up your things, and Kuroo did as well. This study session definitely didn't go as planned. Next thing you knew, you were dating the captain of the volleyball team.
