Milky was looking out of her window which is just directly above Cookie's front door. She looked so sad and her eyes was so full of worry. Why haven't Cookie returned home yet? The daylight was getting dimmer by the seconds and it will be dangerous to walk home in the dark.
She was debating with herself whether to bring a torchlight and fetch Cookie when from far away she caught the sight of Cookie with his shoulders slumped so low. Like a defeated soldier returning home with the sunset as the background. She surpressed the urge to shout his name and wave at him. He's mad with me for hurting Donut's feeling, his-neighbour-in-class.
So she closed the windows and turned down the blind. Just wanting to lie down in bed.
Cookie was still far away but not too far away to see that Milky had noticed him and abruptly closed the windows after that. That made his shoulders slumped lower and his pace slower.
And his heart aching more deeper.
Although he still could not understand why.
