Hello all! 

My latest rom-com The Next Best Thing is almost complete. If you're already familiar with my other stories, you'll find this one a little less campy than The Favoured, The Fair and Ms. Vérité Claire, a little less slapstick than Who Kissed Charlie Fine, and little less fantastical than 12 or High C. It's more akin to Worth in that it's a straight-forward boy-meets-girl, only with way fewer dinner scenes, LOL.

The Goods: I love a good story!  Anything by the Queen, Jane Austen, everything by David Sedaris, the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, Cinnamon and Gunpowder by Eli Brown, Auntie Mame by Patrick Dennis, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, A Prayer For Owen Meany by John Irving, and Maeve Binchy - all have inspired me. Of course, it's impossible to compare myself with these amazing authors, I suppose I'll just say I write the type of story i'd love to see on screen.  Quirky romantic comedies like the Philadelphia Story, The Apartment and You've Got Mail.  I.A.L. Diamond and Nora Ephron are just IT for me and probably my biggest influences, if I don't mention Austen again.  

P.S. I've been told my style is similar to PG Wodehouse by those wishing to kill me with flattery. I forgive them ;D
