The John List Murders

I live in Westfield, New Jersey and we are studying this infamous murder that happened in our town in forensics class. John List murdered his whole family in 1971 and fled the scene. Before he left, he placed all of their bodies in the living room and blasted music for three days straight until neighbors notified the police. The main detective that was called to the scene actually lived in my house until we moved in. John was caught 19 years later with a changed name and new wife. —Ava Ostroff, Facebook
