Chapter 4 -ᴇᴅɪᴛᴇᴅ-

I stand in front of the gold double doors of IR Book company just admiring it.

I've worked my ass off to buy this place. It's been a dream of mines for so long to own my own book store. I love books with a passion, they're my second love besides my son.

I went From struggling and failing to now succeeding and being happy where I am.

I let out a happy sigh closing my eyes just for a moment letting the sun beam down on my face.

Eventually I decided to go inside and open up shop.

Even tho I've been in here many times. still Walking in amazes me.

Most people wouldn't think it's all that but me personally I think it's more than all that. I think it's exquisite. I love the white shelves and the patterned ceiling.

I step in and immediately turn on the open sign that was hanging in the front window. I go and set my things down on the checkout counter and begin looking everything over. making sure all the books were in place and the tables and chairs looked nice.

Time went by it was a very slow day I think I only got about ten customers so far but that's ok I am still happy. Im happy I got to see the smiles on the customers faces when they handed me there book of book's of choice.

It was four pm now and I was just about to close up shop when I end up checking my phone. no notifications except
Gmail and a scammer in my Instagram trying to get me to look at there NSFW Insta story. But I realized that I Haven't texted my party planer (aka family friend) for Noah's birthday party

I was sitting behind the counter
scrolling on my phone looking through Instagram. When I heard the Door ding open. I shut my phone off and look up and was surprised at who I see standing there.
