Tell Me If You Wanna Go Home ~
Keira Knightley

"Are you mad at me? You have been ignoring me the whole drive!"

"Don't talk! You could have spent just one more day there, with me, but no you had to come here for him!"

"TaeBear, he's my best friend! I didn't want him to be left out, especially not after what happened. It's barely even been a month and we did spend your whole birthday there!"

"God, you sound like us spending my birthday together was a favour to me, Jungkook!"

Hearing his full name stung but the ravenette was convinced that he had done the right thing.

"You even made Namjoon and Seokjin cut their getaway short! Why? Because you couldn't handle Jimin's pouty face for one day!"

"You're being so insensitive and selfish right now. I thought you liked Jimin and would do the same for him!"

"I have been doing the same! I haven't said a single word for almost three weeks when you were with him all day and night! I helped Seokjin when you wanted to relocate the whole Christmas party for Jimin! I didn't say anything. We even asked him to come along Jungkook. He said no."

Taehyung paced around the living room of the penthouse, close to tears. He wanted to be empathetic, he wanted to agree with Jungkook because that was the right thing.

"You couldn't even spend one more day there? New Years Eve? I know he's important to you and I'd never ask you to ignore him, but for three days? Of the whole month, you couldn't keep three days aside for me?!"

"Taehyungie..." Jungkook's voice was small, his throat closing up. "I'm sorry. Please don't be mad. I'll make it up to you I promise!"

Taehyung scoffed, rolling his eyes, trying to not let the tears spill. Jungkook looked at the floor, realising he may have been a little hasty. He bit his lip and fidgeted with his black sweater cuffs.

When the door opened, his head shot up.

"Where are you going?!" he asked, eyes wide.

"Out. You can go spend all the time you want with Jimin."

The door slammed before Jungkook could take a step. He hurriedly opened the door and ran to the elevator but he only met Taehyung's blazing gaze, as the door slid shut in his face.

"Taehyung! - Dammit!"

He ran downstairs, out of breath by the time he reached the basement. Taehyung was unlocking his car but Jungkook reached him just in time and grabbed his wrist.

"Let go of me!" Taehyung gritted out.

Jungkook's gaze softened at the tears in his boyfriend's eyes. He didn't mean to upset him but he didn't even know that it was bothering Tae this much. He had only burst out when they already reached their house. If he'd known, he'd have never come back.

But he did anyway.

"Don't leave in a bad mood, Hyungie, please."

"You put me in a bad mood Kook! I didn't want to cause a scene in front of your brothers so I didn't say anything. And now that we're already here, I don't want to keep you from going to him. I'm not that heartless. So go and let me go too."

Saying that Taehyung got in the car and revved out of the parking, leaving a dejected Jungkook behind.

Jungkook stared at his empty hands, pouting. Then he drove to his best friend's house anyway.
