When I hold pen on paper
Something speaks to me
Something that pushes me to write
It makes me write about you.
I express my emotions through writing to you
Now I feel am ready to explain and
Reveal my true self to you
But fear of rejection
With the pressure building on my shoulders
Prevent me from expressing.
