Victoria's Apartments

As they stood before her apartment door, Victoria reached into her bag to fish out her keys and unlocked the door to enter.

William followed suit, closing the door behind him. Rosemary, who sat on the couch, stood at the sound of the door and rushed over to Victoria, embracing her in a crushing hug.

"I am so sorry about all the times I left you alone. I was so worried about you," Rose stated as she pulled away, only to stare daggers at William, who smiled innocently down at her.

"You were only supposed to keep her for a couple of hours" Rosemary's eyes hardened and narrowed into slits as she glared at him.

Victoria's best friend could be the sweetest person anyone could ever meet, but if one was to push her buttons too far or hurt her loved ones, she turned into something far more vicious and it shocked Victoria how Rose was a mere five feet and two inches yet so scary.

"My apologies Ms. Rose. I suppose I got a little carried away, and we lost track of time, didn't we, my darling?" Victoria could practically feel William's arrogant smirk looking down at her.

"I'm sure you did," was all Rose said, and before she could push the matter any further, Alexander entered the room, and Victoria sighed in relief, thanking the heavens for the fantastic timing he had.
