It was a late Monday afternoon and I was kicking it outside with my folks

"Daaaammnn It's hot asf out here." Peezy wined from behind me

"Close your mouth then." His twin sister Jonica joked

The rest of our crew erupted in laughter.

"Ayo shut yo bean pie head ahh up." Peezy was embarrassed

"Don't you start-"

"Will both of ya'll shut up!" I yelled mean mugging them and turning back around

Not including myself there's 3 of us in my crew. Peezy he was the most popular he knew all the hot spots as far as parties, kick backs and anything else you wanted to get into boy that fool cracks jokes all day long but if you need someone to have your back he is the one to go to he always down for anything. Jonica his twin sister was just as crazy but she rarely liked to get her hands dirty she was more into spending money than making it but we still kept her around. Kevin, he is the responsible one that boy always got one foot in the books and the other in the streets he'll lay a nigga down no problem as long as that shit makes sense he was always using his brain for something. Then there's me Kelendria but Kelly for short I don't what these fools are hustling for but me I'm doing this shit for a better life, this isn't a game to me.

"Ayo ain't that ya'll brother?" Kevin asked coming out of our apartment building

I wiped the sweat off my face to get a better look like that was gonna help.

That's when I spotted him, Peezy and Jonica's older brother Ace he was coming down the street with a few of his homies.

"Wassup." He smoothly spoke dapping up Kevin and Peezy and giving Jonica a hug his homies followed suit minus the hug.

I ignored them all and continued to gaze down the hot ass street as if something amazing was happening.

"How you doing Kelly?" I turned around to see one of his homies grinning at me as if he'd won the lottery

I waved my hand I wasn't the one for conversation.

"Why ya'll out here it's hot as fuck why ya'll not in the crib?" Ace asked

"Momma ain't home and P forgot his key." Jonica explained rolling her eyes

I wasn't the one to turn down some free AC so you best believe I hopped my anti social ass right the fuck up and followed everyone inside.

Once inside me and Jonica went right to her room. She had her own room being she was the only girl while P shared a room with Dave who was rarely ever there.

"You wanna watch some tv?" She asked as I plopped down on her bed

"Gurl yes I needa catch up on Love and Hip Hop." I kicked off my shoes getting comfortable

"Why yo hungry ass always in the damn kitchen?" I asked my boy Draco when I seen him walk into the living room with a big ass sandwich

"Cuz ya'll always got the good shit." He spoke with a mouth full of food
