WE MADE IT TO JASPER'S ROOM. I looked around. Taking in his environment and the place he's most spends his time.

"And this is my room." Jasper told me

I enter to find a wall of glass doors open to a deck, where I see a very tall tree, with the river beyond. The rest is floor to celling books.

"So you're obsessed with books But..." I looked around

"No bed?"

"No sleep." Jasper told me

"Ever?" I asked him

"No nightmares, no drool, no snoring." Jasper told me

I consider this, as I run my hand along the book covers, studying the titles

"Do you have any favorites?" Jasper asked me

"Pride and prejudice, the Great Gatsby. The call of the wild, hamlet, of mice and men." I said

"My favorites, too..." Jasper smiles

I smile at him

All of a sudden Jasper speeds over towards him radio and plays a solo piano version of Clair De Lune.

He moves to me, taking my hand, then he starts to turn her in a pirouette, dancing with me but I break off and back away.

"No dancing." I told him

"Ever?" He smirks

"No tripping, no falling, no derision." I told him

"I can always make you." Jasper says mischievous

"You don't scare me." I told him

"Well...you really shouldn't have said that." He told me

He grins, a low growling sounds in the back of his throat. I laugh and backs out the door onto jasper's deck

I back up to the rail. Jasper appears in the doorway, shifting into a half-crouch, about to pounce.

"Don't you dare." I was cut off

Suddenly, I'm airborne as he tackles me and we fly off the deck...then I find myself in a tree in his arms. When I realize where I am, I laugh, delighted l. It's infectious, he laughs heartily, too.

Jasper looks me in the eye

"Trust me?" Jasper asked me

"Always." I told him

"Then close your eyes." Jasper told me

I do, warily. He grips me more firmly, then leaps up to another tree like a flying squirrel then, again, to the top of another tree. He easily gets a foothold, while holding me.
