"I can't believe my eyes!" exclaimed Linda with a look of absolute astonishment.

Raine found the girls exactly where she left them, sipping another round, and went wild with excitement when she approached them.

"You really touched him there?" Dianne wanted to know. "I feel like I saw wrong."

Raine just smiled mysteriously and sat down in the booth next to Victoria. "I think I won," she whispered casually to her and reached out for a new drink.

Victoria rewarded her with a fierce smile, but Raine couldn't help but notice how coldly she narrowed her gray eyes. Sometimes it was really hard to pretend friendship, especially under the influence of alcohol. "Let's dance," she said abruptly and got up from the seat.

"I'm going to the loo. I need to freshen up my makeup a bit," Raine jokingly announced, praying that neither of the girls would follow her. In reality, she needed to freshen up with some cold water. Vodka was an unfortunate choice, and Raine was beginning to feel the whole world spinning. She wanted to be alone just in case things went horribly wrong.

"I'll go with you," Linda offered automatically.

"You don't have to, I'm not Hermione. I don't plan on meeting a troll there," she rebuffed her, although she usually went to the toilets with the whole entourage. The bathrooms upstairs were crowded, so she quickly descended the stairs and decided to navigate through the dance floor again.

After a few minutes of searching, she found one on the other side. They were empty, except for two women who had just dusted off cocaine from their nostrils and hurriedly left.

Raine splashed her face in the sink, being careful not to smudge her makeup more than necessary. She immediately felt much better. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror and rummaged through her purse. It was suspicious that she went alone. Now the girls would surely think she was vomiting, so it was important to look perfect.

"You're beautiful even without it."

She was startled and almost dropped her purse. Eric leaned against the door in his full height, watching her with an amused smile.

"Where did we leave off?" he asked and stepped towards her.
