They both became silent.
“Baba woh bhi itni raatko…?”
Anirudh thinks to himself while being utterly confused. Binoy on the other end hesitates everytime he tries to say something.
Anirudh : Ghar main sab thik haina? KAKA-
Binoy : HAAN! HAAN! Sab thik hain yaha…..
Binoy says with a vauge laugh while he fixed his glasses. Silence fills up their conversation again.
“Pakka kuch toh hua hoga warna Baba itni raatko call nahi karte. Par hua kya hain?”
Anirudh thought’s to himself with furrowed brows trying to understand his father’s untold motives.
Anirudh: Baba……Aap thik haina? Aap kuch bolna cahte hain mujhse?
Binoy : Haan main thik hun! Woh dada se shuna tha aj tumhara interview tha! Socha puchlu kaisa gaya…..Woh dada puch rahe the!
Anirudh could tell Binoy was trying to hide something.
Anirudh: Kaka ne apko Tulsipur se rangoon call kiya yeh bolke ki aap mujhe call karke puche mera interview kaisa gaya?
Binoy : Nahi woh mujhe bhi janna tha interview kaisa gaya aur…..tumdonoke janeke wakt main waha tha nahi toh socha puchlu….waise k…k… kaisa gaya interview ?
Anirudh: Accha gaya hain. Mujhe woh naukri mil gayi.
Binoy : Really?
Anirudh : Ji….
Binoy : Con…Congratulations!
Binoy says with a smile.
Flashback :
“AREH KABHI KHUD PAISE KAMAYE BHI HAIN TUMHNE? JAO PEHLE KHUD DO KAURI KAMAKE DEKHO PHIR TUM SAMJHOGE PAISO KI AHMIYAT!” -Binoy

Binoy’s throat gets heavy with guilt. The decision of Anirudh coming to Calcutta wasnt a long planned move rather a result of Binoy and Anirudh’s fallout cause of Anirudh’s unemployment. When Binoy heard Anirudh is leaving with Bondita for Calcutta after the fight he (Binoy) left for Rangoon that night resulting no reconcilation. Anirudh has long forgot his father’s rudness that day even though those words pierced his heart at that moment he now knows those helped him for the best.
Anirudh : Thank you.
Anirudh says with a smile. Binoy sighs trying to control his feelings.
Binoy : Toh join kabse kar rahe ho?
Anirudh : Kal se hi.
Binoy : Oh…..Bondita kaisi hain? Uske admission ka kya hua?
Anirudh : Woh thik hain. Abhi so rahi hain. Admission test agle mahine hain.
Binoy : Accha…. Dhyan rakhna uska aur…. khudka bhi….
Binoy hesitantly exclaims.
Anirudh : Ji…..rakhta hun…..
Binoy : Hmm….Accha suno Anirudh!
