Those lilies on the river are blooming
And blazing white by the land

Then let's weave a necklace so simple
Yet so beautiful and grand

Beautiful little garland
And while we're at it let's share
Some sweet, sweet love together
Then make some new memories
Of girlhood to treasure
Here are some lilies I plucked for you
So take my hand
Because I want to weave you this
Beautiful little garland
There's that rare sweeter smile
Flashing all over my face
As we're caught in this
Intimate watery embrace
And like these pretty lilies
Does your beauty magnify
So please wear my garland and
Let that further amplify
Oh, the lilies are indeed getting
Heavier now, little darling
We should now take away these flowers
And soon play with the starlings
For my father will be here soon
So let's get out, my sweet pearl
But please wear this simple little garland
