Hi all (especially AEWDragon!),
I know this is not the update you were hoping for, but I am making the decision to officially orphan this fic. I'll leave it up, for those who want to read or re-read it, but there will be no more chapter updates from me. I started writing this a very long time ago when I was in high school, and so any plot or other plans I made are long gone, even from the depths of my consciousness lol. I may copy this to my AO3 as well, but I am undecided and will comment later if I do copy it there.
In happy news, I recently graduated summa cum laude with my Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Astronautics!! This is where I've disappeared to for the past four years lol. As you might be able to tell, I am really passionate about space and sci-fi, so I have been living a dream (although a challenging one) for the past four years. I've designed rockets and satellites, made friends and watched rocket launches, and while I don't have any new career in front of me right now, I'm hopeful and confident the right job will find me so long as I keep looking.
As much as it makes me sad to leave behind this part of myself and my imagination, I hope you all have enjoyed my writing. Thank you all for your kind words, and I am deeply sorry that this fic hasn't been finished. I figured it would be better to make it official instead of stringing you along by promising an update that never comes.
Thank you always for making my writing a part of your life. I wish you all well in your endeavors and hope your lives are happy and full of love!
