"Nani... we should postpone today's mehandi event... we can do that tomorrow..." Arnav said sternly to Nani where she sat along with Anjali, Mamiji and Buwaji in Mandir. "Chote" she addressed him nodding sadly. But Mamiji seemed so furious as she had so many dreams regarding her son's marriage and to all that they have chosen Payal as her daughter-in-law to her dismay by threatening her almost.

"Sasuma... am sure that this all negative vibe is due to that Khoon bahri taang... I mean Payal... she's an unlucky charm to my son and to this family..." she eyed Payal angrily who is shaking with wide eyes. Payal stood behind Akash helplessly. "Manorama..." Nani almost raised her voice while Buwaji poured tears considering the fate of Payal.

"Sasuma.... Am telling the truth... also this Phati Sari... the moment she laid her foot in RM... she bought all the problems with her..." she blasted in anger. "Maa..." Akash's voice went unheard. Nani and Manohar stared her furiously. "I think we should call off this marriage and had to search a suitable bride for my Akash bitwa... what you say...." She finished feeling satisfied. All stood rooted to their grounds.

"No...." Anjali said with tears. "Mamiji.... Don't say that... Payal ji has already faced the pain of broken marriage.... I myself knew and experienced it very well... whatever happened with Shyam ji is our fate... please don't break her heart again" she uttered with shivering voice. "Di..." Arnav held her supportively.

"What... is it true" Manorama fumed and turned to Buwaji. Nani is clearly shocked. Payal couldn't meet any one's eyes as she cried silently. Akash held her shoulder and supported her. Khushi's state is no lesser. "Maa... it's true... and I knew it already" he said boldly. "What is happening... these Gupta girls... they did black magic to all... one has broken marriage and another broken engagement..." Manorama spilled poisonous words.

"Enough..." Arnav's voice roared in the hall making them to gasp in return. "Mamiji... Payal's marriage broke coz of me..." he said in gritted teeth making Khushi to look him with tears. "What..." Manorama looked him questioningly. "I didn't hear Khushi's pleadings that day and locked her instead... she had all those dowry documents with her... which was required for her sister's marriage... so the soul reason behind Payal's broken marriage is me..." he said sternly. "And coming to Khushi's engagement... you really have no idea about it... so without knowing anything stop spilling your venomous words and also stop addressing them with your so called made up names... for god's sake they have their own names.... Also they are going to be the daughter-in-laws of RM" with that everyone gasped looking at him including Khushi.

His eyes met Khushi's and continued without moving his stare from her "Yes... I love Khushi... and I really want to marry her" with a small smile. Khushi blinked her eyes with open mouth. Manorama looked like unbelievable. Nani and Anjali had their content smile even with their tears. Rest of them stood still. Sun rays entered in making their surrounding even brighter.

"Khushi ji's engagement broke coz of me..." everyone turned to Shyam who stood supporting the wall. He looked very pale. "Shyam ji..." Anjali rushed to him and hugs him with happy tears. "Rani Sahiba...." He pulls her gently and looks her with painful eyes. "I don't deserve your affection..." he steadies himself. "It's high time... that I should confess everything.... After all... I went near to death to realize this..." she looked him not getting anything. While Arnav, Akash stood there with hands held in fists. Khushi, Payal and Buwaji watched him with heavy breathes.

 

"It was me.... With whom Khushi ji got engaged" he finally spilled it to everyone's horror. Anjali took a step back as she's sure that she heard wrongly.
