it's funny, really.
how i can go so quickly
from believing that we're
more than what we are.

all it takes is a glance at you.
that's it.

and i'm sent spiraling back
into madness.
insanity.

i know that you don't

like i love you
but
i guess i forget
very very quickly.

we can have the most brief exchange
of words and i
will believe that
you have fallen in love
